Clear waterproofing that keeps your finish visible
TerraTight Transparent Waterproof Sealant is a water-based acrylic sealer that soaks into joints, hairline cracks and porous surfaces, then cures into a clear, flexible film that keeps water out. Use it wherever an opaque coating would hide what you want to show: tiled terraces, brick and stone facades, exposed concrete, bathroom walls and balconies.
Where it works best in Mexico
- Tiled azoteas and terraces: seals grout lines and micro-cracks before the rainy season.
- Brick, cantera and natural stone facades: reduces water absorption and damp patches without changing the colour of the stone.
- Bathrooms and laundry areas: tile joints, shower walls and the edges around fixtures.
- Balconies, fountains and pool surrounds: surfaces that are wet for much of the year.
- Exposed concrete: walls, planters and slabs you want to keep looking natural.
How to apply
- Clean. Remove dust, grease, moss and loose material, then let the surface dry completely.
- Stir. Mix the sealant for 2 to 3 minutes before use.
- First coat. Apply a thin, even coat with a brush or roller. On walls, work from the bottom up.
- Let it dry. Allow about 24 hours, or one sunny day.
- Second coat. Apply a second thin coat the same way and keep water off for 24 hours.
Rainy season tip: start in the morning after a dry night and check that no rain is forecast for the next 24 hours.

Good to know
- Want colour as well? Paint first, let it dry, then seal on top. Do not paint over the sealant.
- On very porous surfaces, an extra first coat improves adhesion.
- Do not dilute the product.
- Clean brushes and rollers with water before the sealant dries.
- Water-based and non-toxic once fully cured (48–72 hours). Keep children and pets away until then.
